This would be a news watch list for SCO group greedy lawsuit against Linux. The collections here would be very biased.

- Leaked email suggests a SCO-Microsoft link

Actually what SCO Group has is the AT&T's Unix codebase (source code of system * Unix), which they acquired in 1995.“Unix” is a trademark of the Open Group since 1992, and that really has nothing to do with SCO. i.e. SCO never owned the UNIX trademark. They plan to sue IBM (this case has not yet been established) on the base that IBM "leak" important techniques they developed together in a cooperative project called "Project Monterey", a Unix port for the Intel Itanium, a 64-bit microprocessor, to the Linux community... well, of course that's bullshiting. SCO Group (a.k.a. Caldera) never demonstrated they have any "advanced" techniques... OSI has a very detailed position paper on this issue, anyone interested in this should take a look: http://www.ntua.gr/opensource/sco-vs-ibm.html Also, Linus' response... well, typical Torvalds... http://www.mozillaquest.com/Linux03/ScoSource-05_Story01.html ^_^
